BASIC LAWN SERVICE
A service can include, but is not limited to: grass cutting, trimming, edging of driveway and/or sidewalks, and blowing off driveway and/or sidewalks. All mowable turf areas will be cut often enough so that the clippings are not more than 1/3 of the grass blade, unless weather does not permit. Bi-weekly cutting will usually be in the months of March and November. Weekly cutting will usually be in the months of April through October. Line trimming and edging will be done on an as needed basis, usually bi-weekly.
AERATION AND OVER-SEEDING
Mechanical aeration will be performed. Plugs will be pulled from the soil and deposited at the surface to dissipate naturally. Aeration shall not be performed on slope areas where turf damage and/or safety are of concern. A turf-type fescue will be applied at a rate of 6-8 pounds per 1,000 square feet.
FERTILIZATION
All fertilizers will be phosphorus free and applied at rates no greater than 4 pounds per 1,000 square feet. Slow-release nitrogen will be used to prevent nitrogen burn as well as to prolong the benefits of the fertilizer.
WEEDING
Manual weeding and/or the application of non-selective herbicides to all plant beds and/or cracks in driveways, sidewalks, and curbs will be performed on a bi-weekly basis to keep weeds under control.
LEAF REMOVAL
Leaf removal consists of blowing leaves out of the beds and lawn into another specified area of the property and/or removed from the property and disposed of.
MULCHING
All plant beds and mulch areas will be re-edged and two – three inches of new mulch will be applied to give your landscape a fresh look and help your plants retain water.
PRUNING
Ornamental trees, shrubs, bushes, grasses, and/or plants will be trimmed or pruned of some new growth and all dead plant material. Some plants require being cut back in the fall or spring.
GUTTER CLEANING
Leaves and sticks will be removed from gutters by using blowers from the roof or ladder.
PRESSURE WASHING
Pressure washing can include, but is not limited to washing the windows, siding, brick, or wood of the house and/or storage shed, patio furniture, fences, walkways, and/or driveways with a cleaning solution and a pressure washer.
